Two people were killed in a head-on collision in Victorville on Father’s Day. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, a Cadillac Escalade heading west on Green Tree Boulevard crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with an Acura TL. The crash occurred just before 5:00 p.m. near Green Tree Boulevard and Hesperia Road. A third vehicle was also involved but sustained only minor damage.
The Escalade driver was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center in critical condition and later died. Authorities said they were investigating the possibility that alcohol was a factor and administered DUI testing as part of their initial investigation. The Acura driver died at the scene. The occupants of the third vehicle were unharmed.
