DARLA CUNNINGHAM
PARTNERDarla A. Cunningham had been a partner of the firm since 2006. She received her Juris Doctorate from Chapman Law School and graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in crime and delinquency. Mrs. Cunningham’s passion to advocate on the behalf of the injured and disabled had been her calling in life. She handles the firm’s Personal Injury and Social Security departments.
SCOTT RUBEL
MANAGING PARTNERScott M. Rubel is our Managing Partner and practices exclusively in our Workers' Compensation Department. He graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications in 1984. He received his Juris Doctorate from The University of San Diego School of Law in 1988. Mr. Rubel actively participates with the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association who are dedicated in helping Californians that get hurt heal and get back to work. This advocacy includes legal, policy, and educational measures to protect the injured worker.
DON FEATHERSTONE
OF COUNSELMr. Featherstone joined Lerner, Moore, Silva, Cunningham & Rubel in 2014. With over 36 years experience handling a variety of areas of law from personal injury, business litigation, employment law to Workers' Compensation, Mr. Featherstone prides himself as being thorough and highly competent to advocate on the behalf of the injured workers. Mr. Featherstone has served as a Pro Tem Workers' Compensation Judge and taught Workers' Compensation Law at the University of California, Riverside. Mr. Featherstone represents Public Safety Officers and First Responders.
JOSE CORREA
ASSOCIATEJoe R. Correa is an Associate and practices exclusively in the Workers' Compensation department. He graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a dual major in Politics and Sociology. He received his Juris Doctorate from Whittier College of Law obtaining Moot Court Honors. Prior to joining our team, Mr. Correa ran his own firm for 25 years concentrating in Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, and Bankruptcy matters. Mr. Correa is fluent in Spanish.
